We are delighted to be a ‘party partner’ at the inaugural Extraordinary Islanders celebration in the grounds of the Nunnery in the Isle of Man capital, Douglas.

The community campaign was created to highlight and reward the remarkable actions of residents, businesses and groups in the Island during 2020, particularly at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Saturday evening’s ‘extraordinary party’ will recognise the selfless actions of individuals and uplifting contributions to society by local groups and businesses.

Many of these heroes put themselves at risk to save lives, work tirelessly to rebuild community spirit, go out of their way to help others and make sure that everyone in the small island community is cared for.

Wilton’s generous involvement has helped fund some fantastic prizes and we’re looking forward to the ceremony and meeting the finalists.

Due to the situation in the Isle of Man – residents are living without restrictions as there are no community cases of Covid-19 – the event will be attended by around 350 people, meaning it will be one of the best attended in the British Isles for several months.
